Golf Fitness

As a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) golf fitness instructor and low single-digit handicap golfer, Marty can help you reach your full potential and lower your golf fitness handicap. What's your golf fitness handicap?

Most golfers strive to improve their game, hit the ball further and lower their scores. Many spend hours on the range and golf course trying to hone their skills. However, most fail to improve their golf conditioning. The Fitness Coach has developed specialized fitness programs exclusively for golfers that target key muscle groups responsible for the golf swing. Marty can help you reach your full potential by improving your flexibility, core body strength and balance.

In addition to improving your golf game, the exercises in this program will help to retard the aging process. For each decade after we reach 25 years of age, we lose 3-5% of our muscle mass and the flexibility associated with that muscle mass. Following The Fitness Coach Golf Fitness program will help to slow this process, while improving your game. Click here for more information.

30-Day Fitness Tune Up

Do you exercise on a regular basis, but just aren't getting the results that you want and expect? Most people are doing the same routine each time and feel like they have reached a plateau in their fitness progress. If that sounds familiar, then the 30-Day Fitness Tune Up may be for you.

The key to getting to the next level of fitness is to change your exercise routine every 60 days in order to challenge your muscles and stimulate your mind. Additionally, it's imperative that you train all major muscle groups with the correct resistance (weight), form and intensity, and also stretch properly. During the 30-Day Fitness Tune-Up program, which includes four, 50-minute one-on-one consultation and training sessions in the privacy of your home, Marty will work with you on these critical elements, plus:

  • Discuss your fitness goals and objectives – These are the "key" drivers for your overall fitness plan.
  • Review your current aerobic training program – Are you walking, running, doing aerobics, riding a stationary bike? If so, at what level of intensity? Do you use a heart rate monitor? Do you track the number of calories you burn per exercise session?
  • Review your stretching routine – Do you stretch before, during or after exercising? Are you stretching correctly?
  • Review your resistance (weight) training program – Are you lifting weights or doing exercises for specific muscle groups or problem areas?
  • Review your diet and nutritional plan – What are your eating habits? Nutrition education is the key to a better diet.

90-day Jump Start

Do you need help getting started on a fitness program or re-vitalizing a dormant fitness program to get tangible results? If so, The Fitness Coach has designed the 90-Day Jump Start program with you in mind.

Most people fail to exercise because they lack time, aren't exactly sure what to do, don't see results, get discouraged and quit. The 90-Day Jump Start program will provide you with professional guidance, accountability and the motivation to get “started” and on your way to achieving your fitness goals and will include:

  • Fitness Assessment (including body fat analysis)
  • One to three 45-minute training sessions per week (in the convenience of your home!)
  • Exercise education 101 (learn how-to workout safely and effectively)
  • Specific exercises (designed for your goals and trouble spots)
  • Access to the Exercise Tracker for weekly reporting and accountability
  • Nutritional education (learn more about weight management and nutrition)
  • Fitness Roadmap (a plan for you to follow after the 90-days!)

Weight Loss and Weight Maintenance

Almost 70% of adult Americans are overweight and 25% are clinically obese. Being overweight can lead to cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and other serious health problems -- not to mention the negative impact on self-image. Americans spend more than $30 billion annually on weight loss; unfortunately, 95% of people who initially have weight loss success are unable to keep the weight off long-term.

The Fitness Coach can help you hit your weight loss target and maintain your newly achieved health goals by combining a custom menu of fitness programs, along with nutritional education and the motivation of one-on-one personal coaching.

Body Toning & Sculpting

The Fitness Coach can design a customized fitness program for you to help you achieve your unique goals.

These programs are based on your current fitness level, personal goals & objectives and time available and involve a customized mix of exercise programs, including:
